A couple weeks ago we asked the Rawbrahs to share their thoughts on what they felt were the 10 most important things in a man's life. As a follow-up to that post, we ask Emily Eisenman, the lone sister of the Rawbrahs, to share her thoughts on what she feels are the 10 most important things in a woman's life.

Again, you may not agree with everything on the list, but the important thing is to reflect upon it and ask yourself, "what is important to me?" Getting your priorities in order is not only important to living a great life, but it is also key to maintaining a balanced perspective and avoiding many of the trials that can lead to poor health, personal strife, and broken relationships.

For the fellas, understanding this list has the added benefit of helping you to understand how to be a good spouse, brother, son and friend to the woman in your life.  A virtuous woman can give you joy and treasure that no money or wealth can provide. Find all 10 of these qualities in a woman and your life will be blessed beyond imagine.

Hold Fast!

Rawbrahs: The 10 Most Important Things in a Woman's Life

1.       Living for Jesus:

When we live for someone other than ourselves, we are willing to run after what He called us to be, in his image. When you set yourself free from you, allowing to put yourself outside of the equation, this will fix all problems that you believe to have. Those problems turn into freedom which is what living life to the fullest looks like.

2.        The Wife of Noble Character: Proverbs 31:10-31

  • Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value.
  • She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.
  • Works with eager hands.
  • Provides food for her family. (I believe this also means spiritually)
  • She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
  • Her lamp does not go out at night.
  • She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.
  • She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
  • She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
  • She does not eat the bread of idleness.
  • Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.
  • Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

3.        Nurture:

It is essential for a woman to have a caring spirit and love others through her works. It is a natural element for a woman to show love through acts of kindness (e.g., being supportive, understanding, patient, sensitive, and loving). These qualities are done well through communication, volunteering, and through feeding others (literally and/or spiritually). A true woman puts herself last.

4.        Strength:

Not just physically, but spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Strength in a woman provides leadership over her family and friends. If she has a stable foundation then nothing can shake her from her rock. But the strength has to be exercised and practice through faith and confidence.

5.        Nature:

Let nature be the one to make you beautiful and not the mall or tanning beds. Get a sun kissed tan and let the brightness of the day bring your natural hair color out and not the chemicals from a salon. (Where do you think they got the idea from in the first place?!) The sun also clears acne, funguses and rashes.

6.        Food for the Soul and Body:

The body can only recognize foods that are from the one who created humans - God; the best chief ever!! I believe woman need certain foods in order to live fully in the Spirit: meats, chicken, fish, greens, fruits, vegetables, nuts, natural grains, and raw dairy products. If God didn’t create it, don’t consume it.

7.        Your Gift:

It’s important to realize that YOU have a particular God given gift. The gift you have should be used to benefit you and others around you because YOU are the ONLY one that can use your gift the best. Therefore, once you know who you are in Christ and know the gift he has given you, become an expert. Otherwise, everyone including you will suffer. If you do not know your gift, pray to God to show you who you are.

8.        A Man:

EVERY woman needs a man, it’s biblical. It’s a desire that God has placed in every woman's heart. Not just any man, a man that is devoted to live his life to glorify his Father and also devoted to love and provide for his wife and family. A woman needs a man that enables her to be submissive too. A woman needs to be strengthen by her husband.

9.        Spending Time Alone:

Find daily time to be at peace and rest in the presences of God, alone. Take walks alone with God, telling him EVERYTHING on your heart. He will satisfy your soul for the entire day. This enables you to really feel him like the sun on your skin. Release yourself to him and into the quiet time you have. Spending alone time is restoration for your life today and it’s your chance to surrender fully to God. Let go of you so that you can be filled with Him.

10.     Fitness:

Get the blood flowing! Get moving in a way that you love, whether that’s on a playground, a dance floor, a dirt road, or in a gym. Hormones are released to make you feel more energized and more joyful than you were before. You also gain high self-esteem mentally and physically. Find out what you can do with your body. It is so exciting and it never gets old.
