Brian Berthod

          Growing up in Colorado offered endless possibilities to explore fitness and the wilderness.  Brian has spent the last 18 years pushing the boundaries of fitness by backpacking, snowboarding, running and cycling.  Never straying too far from the gym, spending countless hours body building and performing yoga.  Upon enlisting in the navy, Brian received a crash course in what functional fitness means.  Being tested and retested through high-level fitness standards, pushing the boundaries of what the human body is capable of achieving.  Having being forged by this type of training plan he began to understand the importance of learning and mastering functional fitness movements.  After realizing the wealth of knowledge and experience gained, the passion to share this knowledge with others began to grow.  To help others to live a vibrant, healthy lifestyle became his lifelong pursuit.  Effort outweighs performance and performance outweighs appearance. 

          Brian is a certified CrossFit Level 1 (CF-L1) Trainer.  Brian is founder and CEO of Hold Fast Iron.

Ian Carpenito

          Ian is the subject matter expert when it comes to Olympic Weightlifting.  Ian's methods are tried are true, simple and effective.  Currently serving in the United States Military, Ian continues to spread the message, as IRON sharpens IRON.   

Mindy Carpenito

          Mindy continues to spread the knowledge of fitness wherever she goes.  In between her free time from being a mother of three, she is spreading the message to improve the health and fitness of others.                 

          Mindy is a certified CrossFit (CF-L1) trainer, USA Weightlifting, and Yoga instructor.   

Paul Baldwin

          Paul provides an example a pillar of aspiration.  Not only exemplifying fitness he proves an example in  our personal life.  Paul embodies the message, strength is more how much someone can lift, strength is courage under pressure.  

Mason Flynn

         Mason draws upon many years of powerlifting to fuel his CrossFit training.  This training provides a furnace for strength training and functional fitness.  Mason truly embodies what CrossFit is, constantly preparing for the unknown.  There are no shortcuts, hard work is the key to fitness.

          Mason is a 2016 CrossFit Regional Southern California Athlete.
